This opening is for a high-tech fabric manufacturer that is rapidly growing in the ceiling and wall coverings sectors. Its environmentally friendly products have been selected by flagship architectural and interior design firms worldwide. We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager who can lead the company’s commercial expansion in the Gulf Countries and larger Middle Eastern region.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and manage a network of national sales agents, distributors, and installers
- Develop and manage relationships with architectural and interior design firms
- Define sales objectives, manage project pipeline, develop new territories
- Find and manage Key Accounts and large projects
- Manage marketing in the region to support sales
- Manage regional warehouse administration and operations (Dubai)
- Report to and interact with parent company
The ideal candidate has:
- 15+ years experience in both residential and commercial architecture and interior design sectors
- Previous experience in a senior sales management role in the Middle East Proven leadership and interpersonal skills leading to demonstrable results in UAE
- Proven business-to-business sales experience in commercial and residential construction ceilings/walls decoration working with a variety of UAE and Middle Eastern countries
- Well-rounded magement skills including people, marketing and sales,operations and budget
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills relevant to doing business in the UAE and Middle East
- Native-speaker language level in Arabic and fluency in English required (French speaking ability is a plus)
