Jerome Chevallier, Ph.D.

An Advisor to The Triana Group since 2008, Dr. Jerome Chevallier is the Director of Business Development and New Ventures at the leading medical device corporation Midmark, where he has acquired, partnered with, and licensed a number of innovative technologies for national distribution in medical private practices. Earlier, he was the U.S. Head of Marketing and Business Development for a $400 million L’Oreal division, La Roche-Posay. He administered all development, technico-legal, and marketing of the brand across 50 States. He identified potential acquisition targets to accelerate brand recognition, oversaw the acquisition of BioMedic by L’Oreal and managed its merger, boosting market share and revenue, and bringing the corporation among the top 3 leading U.S. brands of physician dispensed cosmetics. Prior to this position, Jerome was the Corporate Director of International Health Registration & Head of Regulatory Affairs for L’Oreal USA. He built the International Health Registration Department from the ground up, including a registration process in 60 countries, which accelerated go-to-market cycles for brands such as Redken, Maybelline, and Ralph Lauren and enabled an increase in export sales from $50 million to over $500 million in 4 years.Jerome holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Caen (France), an MBA from ESSEC Graduate School of Management (France, Singapore), and completed Executive Education at Columbia University.
